About the author
Sherri picked up her first romance novel when she was twelve and immediately she was hooked. She would stay up reading long after everyone else in her house had gone to bed, needing to see the hero and heroine get their happily ever after. But Sherri never imagined becoming an author.
At the age of thirty, all that changed. After getting frustrated with the direction a television show was taking two of its characters, Sherri decided to try her hand at writing an alternative ending to give the characters the happy ending they deserved.

Emotional and touching second chance story between two childhood friends who are reunited after 10 years.Hard to believe we've reached the last Daniels brother's story. If your a fan of the series I think you'll find it ironic how Trent and Chris's ladies each had dated the other brother first. Abigail Hoffman grew up 3 doors downs from the Daniels family. She pretty much spent all of her time growing up in their house. She was very close with all of them but it was Chris she ended up dating through high school. Trent had always wanted more from Abby but by the time he figured that out she was already dating his brother. While in college something happened and Abby cut off all communication with Trent and the Daniels and started a new life in New York. This book picks up with her back in Ohio to help her boss with his father's business as he is dying of cancer. She was hoping she wouldnt run into any of the Daniels while she was there but fate had other plans and she ended up having to worth with Trent all while fighting her old feeling for him and knowing that the secret from 10 years ago would finally have to be brought out into the open which would impact more than just Trent.
This was a well written love story with a couple of teary eyed scenes. The small amount of angst wasnt between Trent and Abby but more with her secret and then a little suspense at Trent's job. Great contemporary romance series about 4 brothers – each different in their own way but yet same in the love for family. Highly recommend this series.

It was well written and a beutiful love story!
The language, the plot, the history between the two main characters, but most of all the love between them.
Another fantastic story from this author!

You'll feel so many emotions reading this book,shyness,sadness,happiness... well you get the idea.. beautifully written and worth the wait..considering we waited do long to read about Trent's book.
oh my!! I don't even know where to begin. I must say that this book had me laughing at different times and crying at others. I loved this book. Trent Daniels is my fave Daniels. I don't want to give out spoilers. So all I'm going to say is that you won't be disappointed when you read this book. Sherri Hayes is a fantastic author who will bring out soo many emotions in you too.
This had to be the most emotional book of the series for me. I found myself crying almost every other chapter.
Abby's story is one that tore at me. But she's found a way to heal.
Trent was a great companion. He had strength.
I'd love to see what happens with Max although he wasn't a Daniels.

Oh, where to start! Trent has had a thing for Abby since high school but he let her go because she was with his older brother at the time. Fast forward 15 years. Abby had left after school and went to New York but had come back for a job. Trent sees her and figures he is NOT letting her go again. But there is a history with Abby and his brother that she never told anyone about and she doesn't know how the Daniels family will react. I've been waiting for Trent's story since I read "Behind Closed Doors" and it was worth the wait. I loved it and Sherri did all the brothers justice in their stories! Now, I need Max's story because he deserves his own HEA with someone who will love him!
